Written by L. Ron Hubbard, the book fills the moral vacuum in an increasingly materialistic society. This code of conduct contains 21 basic principles guiding one to a better quality of life. Entirely nonreligious, it can be followed by anyone, of any race, color or creed and works to restore the bonds that unite Mankind.

Dianetics and Scientology: The Basics

The materials of Dianetics and Scientology comprise the largest body of information ever assembled on the mind, spirit and life, rigorously refined and codified by L. Ron Hubbard through five decades of research, investigation and development. The results of that work are contained in hundreds of books and more than 3,000 recorded lectures.The books and lectures that follow form the foundation upon which The Bridge to Freedom is built. They are presented in the sequence Ron wrote or delivered them. In many instances, Ron gave a series of lectures immediately following the release of a new book to provide further explanation and insight of these milestones. Through monumental restoration efforts, those lectures are now available.

While Ron’s books contain the summaries of breakthroughs and conclusions as they appeared in the developmental research track, his lectures provide the running day-to-day record of research and explain the thoughts, conclusions, tests and demonstrations that lay along that route. In that regard, they are the complete record of the entire research track, providing not only the most important breakthroughs in Man’s history, but the why and how Ron arrived at them.

Not the least advantage of a chronological study of these books and lectures is the inclusion of words and terms which, when originally used, were defined by LRH with considerable exactitude. Far beyond a mere “definition,” entire lectures are devoted to a full description of each new Dianetic or Scientology term — what made the breakthrough possible, its application in auditing as well as its application to life itself. Through a sequential study, you can see how the subject progressed and recognize the highest levels of development. A great Movie: Pirates Of Silicon Valley

If you do NOT know the history of the personal computer industry, then You must see this movie!

The film begins with Steve Jobs on the set of the infamous 1984 Apple Commercial explaining what his company is trying to do.

The story is told not from the perspective of Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, but from Steve Wozniak and Steve Ballmer. Steve Wozniak was the brains behind the first three generations of Apple computers. He no longer works for Apple on a day to day basis. Steve Ballmer was the marketing arm of Microsoft after they initially started. He continues working with Microsoft to this day and become CEO of Microsoft.

The method of using these folks to narrate the story is dynamic and fun.
